    Decorating Guide: Santa Belt Cupcakes

    What You'll Need

    • Oil Blend - Black, Red and Yellow
    • Gloss Frost 1L
    • Piping Tips - 1A and 125
    • Disposable Piping Bags 12in
    • Cupcakes (max. 24)

    How to Decorate

    1. With your cupcakes baked and cooled, divide 2/3 of your Gloss Frost into a large bowl and divide the remainder into 2 small bowls. Colour your large bowl with Red and your smaller bowls with Yellow and Black.

    2. Assemble 2 piping bags by putting your piping tips inside and snipping the end off. Fill the piping bag with tip 1A with Red and the other with Black. Fill a third, tipless piping bag with Yellow, leaving the tip closed for now.

    3. With your Red piping bag pointed straight down at your cupcake, pipe a large dollop of Gloss Frost into the centre, lifting while your squeeze to create a ‘ball’ of icing. Flip your cupcake upside down onto baking paper and press to flatten the icing. Put your upside-down cupcakes into the fridge for 5-10 mins to set.

    4. Once set, remove your cupcakes from the fridge and peel the baking paper away. Angle your Black piping bag so the tip runs parallel to the top of the cupcake. Lightly squeeze and pull across the cupcake to create Santa’s belt.

    5. Snip off the tip of your Yellow piping bag and pipe a small square in the centre of the black belt so create the buckle.

    6. Serve and enjoy!
